Said "I Do" on April 6, 2019

Heather and Wesley's is definitely a love story that was written in the stars...destiny, fate, "meant to be", all of these things come to mind when I think about these two amazing people.  They met each other young, and they went through highschool and what came after.  They stuck together through hard times and stood beside one another when others would likely have given up.  An "actual" lovestory with "actual" high school sweethearts...it doesn't happen every day.  Even Wesley's proposal was one that would bring a tear to just about anyone's eye...he actually bought Heather a puppy, drove all night as her friends kept her busy at a winery, tied a ring around that puppy's neck and got down on one knee.  In all of the "puppy excitement", Heather didn't realize at first that Wesley was on his knee, and that made for some laughs before a very tearful and authentic "yes"!  

Heather and Wesley's wedding was also one for the history books - a truly special affair filled with all of the love and laughter of almost an entire town!  They said "I Do" at their home in the little town of Garey, where there is little more than a few houses, a Deli and a lot of history.  They worked hard and enlisted the help of their families and friends to create a space and decorations that were as beautiful as they were meaningful.  From the wooden arbor, made by Heather's father, that Heather and Wesley said their vows beneath to all of the many signs that were hand made by a family friend, these two took a space that was already filled with love and made it even more special.  After saying their vows, they danced in thier backyard before a crowd of tearful family and friends, and enjoyed a night that no one will soon forget. These two have a love that was simply "meant to be", and they will be together "forver and ever, amen".  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Van Der Linden!
